Jefferson Mulloy Starr joined the firm as an associate in 2010. Mr. Starr’s practice areas include general corporate and business litigation, probate litigation, family law, local government law, criminal law, and real property disputes.
A native of Dalton, Georgia and graduate of Dalton High School, Mr. Starr attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude, with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He remained in Athens for law school, earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Starr served as an Intern to the Honorable Justice Curtis L. Collier, Chief District Judge for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee and as a Summer Associate at the Gilbert, Harrell, Sumerford, & Martin law firm in Brunswick, Georgia. Mr. Starr also served as a Senator to the Student Bar Association, Fundraiser Chairman for the Tim Baldwin Foundation, and was selected for membership in the Gridiron Secret Society.
Mr. Starr is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and resides in Cumming, Georgia.
